URGENT
Sub: ONE DAY STRIKE ON
15.02.2017
Dear Comrades,
The historic
March to Parliament declared ONE DAY STRIKE on 15th February 2017 as
a mark of protest against the breach of assurance and betrayal by the Group of
Ministers of NDA Government and to uphold the self respect and dignity of the
entire work force of the Central Government Establishments and Aided
/Autonomous Body under Central Government and Pensioners.
Being part of
the March to Parliament NFAEE and its affiliates also become the part of
historic decision and now it is the responsibility of all affiliates, and
Nuclear Worker to implement the STRIKE decision and make it grand success.
Confederation
of Central Government Employees and Workers in the Executive Meeting held on 16th
December 2016 took the following decisions:
01.To serve the
STRIKE Notice on 28th December 2016 to the Government and to the Head
of the Department. STRIKE Notice should be given to the Head of the local units
also.
02.To organize
demonstration on the day of serving STRIKE Notice, i.e. on 28th December
2016 in all units.
03.To hold Mass
Dharna on 10th January 2017 at all District and State Capitals.
04.To conduct
campaign programme in all States after 15th January 2017 in which
Secretariat members of the Confederation of C. G Employees & Workers shall
attend
05.To publish
and circulate widely Posters, pamphlets, etc to reach the message of the STRIKE
to the entire central government employees
06.To hold Press
Conference where ever possible to get the media coverage
07.The
Managing/Executive Committee meetings of all affiliated organizations should
convene immediately to plan campaign programmes in detail.
08.Letters may
be given to the elected representatives to take up the matter with the
Government and to seek the support on our genuine demands. Etc. etc
The copy of the circular issued by
Confederation is attached along with this letter.
All the affiliates are requested to
carry out the above mentioned programmes successfully.
a.
Convene the Managing /Executive Committee meeting
immediately and take decision to serve the STRIKE Notice on 28.12.2016.
b.
Serve the strike notice on 28.12.2016 to the Secretary to
the Department of Atomic Energy through Head of the Units. (Draft copy of the
Strike Notice along with charter of Demand is attached)
c.
Participate in the Mass Dharna on 19th January
2017 at the District/State Capital wherever the Confederation of CG Employees
and Workers organizing the programme. If no programme nearby, affiliates are
requested to organize the Mass Dharna programme in front of the Gate of unit.
d.
Participate in mass in the Campaign programme being
organized by Confederation of CG Employees and Workers at the District/State
Capital
e.
Organise Gate meetings, demonstrations, etc to mobiles the
employees and invite the leaders of NFAEE/Confederation of CG Employees &
Workers, Trade Unions, etc to address the gathering. Inform the NFAEE Head
Quarters about the proposal for holding campaign programme such as explanatory
meetings, gate meetings, demonstrations such as morcha in the residential area,
etc and need of any NFAEE leaders or Confederation leaders to address such campaign programmes.
f.
Print and circulate pamphlets among the employees in
vernacular language to educate the employees.
