Dear Comrades,

Wishing you all revolutionary greetings on the occasion of MAY DAY

Let us remember the sacrifices and struggles of the working class for centuries for their existence and rights…..

All the affiliates are requested to take up action on following issues immediately:

1. Questionnaire issued by Pay Commission:

Please see the letter from NFAEE Head Quarters No. nfaee/sg/053 dated 21.04.2014 regarding the questionnaire issued by the 7^th CPC. So far no association or union sent comments of the questionnaire. In the meantime, NFAEE requested the Chairman Atomic Energy commission to hear the staff side before the Department submitting its comments to the Pay Commission and sought an appointment with the Chairman.

Accordingly Chairman met a delegation of NFAEE on 30^th April 2014 and discussed the matter. DAE through Email asked all unions and associations also to submit their comments by 7^th May 2014 to compile the comments by the Department. Copy of the letter given by NFAEE is attached herewith.

All affiliates are requested to send their comments if any on questionnaire before 1pm on 5^th May 2014, so that the same can be considered by the Secretariat of NFAEE and prepare note and the same can be submitted by all affiliates to the Department before 7^th May 2014 and to the Pay Commission before 10^th May 2014.

All are requested to treat this as urgent and act on that.

2. All India Conference:

Hope all affiliates are busy with the preparation for participation in the 5^th All India Conference. All may be decided the list of delegates and observers to be participate in the conference and booked the tickets of the participants. Donation collection also may start in full swing. All the affiliates are requested to send the list of the participants and other details of the journey they planned etc at the earliest. After getting the details from the affiliates only the Reception Committee can make the arrangement for accommodation and other facilities. The delay in the communication will result the proper arrangements also.

All affiliates are requested to send the details of the delegates/observers participating in the conference immediately.

There are still few organizations has not been cleared the dues of the subscription dues. Following association pending with subscription payment yet to pay the associations against their name written in the chart below:

All the affiliates who are dues for subscription once again remind the decision of the Working Committee as per the provision in the Constitution that unless otherwise dues are cleared, cannot participate in the ensuing All India Conference.

All affiliates those who are due in subscription payment are requested to clear the subscription immediately. Already the details of the NFAEE Bank Accounts has been circulated Com. K. G. Bilaskar, Treasurer NFAEE to make the payment directly in the Account. If any further help/assistance is need are requested to contact Com. Bilaskar or the undersigned urgently. The Working Committee meeting held at Mumbai on 6^th April 2014 decided that all affiliates who all are due for election before December 2013 should hold their election before the conference.

Hence once again remind those associations whose election was due for the year 2013 or before and not conducted the election to conduct the election immediately.

3. Campaign to stop auction of the Bungalow of  Homi BHabha

As you all aware through our earlier communication NFAEE along with the Mumbai based unions association initiated campaign against the move to auction the Bungalow of Dr, Homi Bhabha and demanded to convert it into a memorial to the father of Indian Nuclear Programme. A wider meeting of DAE employees stationed at Mumbai shall be held on 5^th May 2014 at the Multipurpose Hall, BARC Training School Hostel to chalk out the further programme on the subject.

All are requested to campaign against the move and further action at all India level shall be decided in due course.

All affiliates are requested to take proper decision on all the issues referred above.
